Particularly after the UNFCCC Copenhagen Conference 2009 (COP-15).  Those involved are not just limited to the people involved in policy on economic levels, but include almost every community from politics to technology and the general public.  Currently, “low carbon” has become one of the most common phrases in daily life. To make contributions to the development of the knowledge-based economy for control of climate changes, Dalian BIT Conferences, Inc. teams up with China Council of Promotion of International Trade-Dalian Chamber to organize the first Annual Low Carbon Earth Summit with the theme “Leading the Green Economy, Returning to Harmony with Nature.” It will be held in Dalian, China at the World Exposition Center.  Tours of Beijing and Tibet can be arranged.

Ride Solar with ASI - The Collaboratory, Messiah College

When:  September 17th, 2011 8AM - 2PM

Where: Cargas Systems (1310 Marshall Ave, Lancaster, PA)

What:  Advanced Solar Industries is organizing the Ride Solar cycling event to support the Collaboratory, a multidisciplinary center of Messiah College.   Proceeds from this ride will go towards students' efforts to establish a solar facility in a developing country.  Students will gain real life experience by planning and implementing the project in its entirety.  Advanced Solar Industries will partner with them on their journey by using the proceeds from this event and by serving as a technical advisor on the project.  The cycling event will be a metric century with an option to also ride a 30 or 15 mile loop.  What makes the event unique is that the course will take riders past local solar installations.  Multiple edutainment opportunities will be provided for riders and non-riders alike.  And in addition to participating in the other presentations and exhibits, the RARdster and team will serve as the official PACE car for the kickoff loop. (Beats cycling behind a traditional smog-belching pacer car).  Though not pedal powered in the traditional sense, with zero emissions and quiet operation, the RARdster will provide an ideal lead for this fresh air event!

Driving the Northeast Green!

On March 29, 2010, the RAR organization embarked on a smaller but no less important Driving the Northeast Green campaign from Boston to Philadelphia.  The campaign launched from the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center ("one of America's greenest hotels”) and completed in Philadelphia.  Along the way they highlighted renewable-energy leadership and raised money for cooperative charities through a drive-a-thon and fun and unique events that included electric vehicle exhibitions, and raffles for prizes and rocket-sled-like rides in their Tesla Roadster.

One man, his 12-year old son, a lightning-fast zero-emission sports car, and a mission!

"For this campaign I will be taking my son Joey with me to promote our missions of energy policy change and charity."

- Michael Craner, Co-founder, Renew America Roadtrip
