About Renew America Roadtrip
The Renew America Roadtrip™ (RAR) made history last summer when it completed America’s first volunteer, green, charity drive coast-to-coast in a production all-electric sports car, a Tesla Motor’s Roadster.  This month, they are at it again. On March 29, 2010, the RAR organization is embarking on a smaller but no less important Driving the Northeast Green campaign from Boston to Philadelphia.  The campaign will launch from the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center ("one of America's greenest hotels”) and complete at a special TBA finale location in Philadelphia.   Along the way they will be highlighting renewable-energy leadership and raising money for cooperative charities through a drive-a-thon and fun and unique events that include a Race the Roadster drag-race challenge, electric vehicle exhibitions, and raffles for prizes and rocket-sled-like rides in their Tesla Roadster.
